John A. Sprague, Managing Partner

Prior to co-founding Jupiter in 1994, Mr. Sprague was the first nonfounding principal, and subsequently partner of Forstmann Little & Co.

Mr. Sprague is a director of APX Alarm Security Solutions, Oracle Elevator, and The Home Service Store.

Graduate of Harvard University (B.A., 1974) and Stanford Graduate School of Business (M.B.A., 1980). Attended University of Freiburg (Germany) (1974-1975). Associated with Morgan Guaranty Trust Company (1975-1977), Merrill Lynch & Co. (1977-1978), and Salomon Brothers Inc. (1980-1982) and Forstmann Little & Co. (1982-1992).

Terry J. Blumer, Senior Partner

Prior to co-founding Jupiter in 1994, Mr. Blumer was an original member of the Principal Investments Area at Goldman, Sachs & Co. During his nearly nine years at Goldman, he had responsibility for evaluation and recommendation of investments, and participated in transaction origination, analysis, due diligence, structuring, financing, monitoring and dispositions.

Mr. Blumer is a director of APX Alarm Security Solutions, Oracle Elevator and The Home Service Store. He is also a director of Health Right International, a non-profit medical relief agency.

Graduate of Rice University (B.A., 1980) and Stanford Graduate School of Business (M.B.A., 1984). Associated with McKinsey & Company (1980-1982) and Goldman, Sachs & Co. (1984-1993).
